About Us
Kids Cove is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization a place where compassion meets action, and every child's well-being is at the heart of what we do. Our goal is to provide respite care like no other. A vacation for the kids and rest for the parents.
Our Journey
Founded in 2023 by James and Kate Radford, Kids Cove emerged from a deeply personal commitment to fostering and a shared vision of making a lasting impact on the lives of foster families and children in need. Our journey began with a simple idea — to create a haven where foster families find support, and children experience the joys of childhood in a nurturing environment.
We are excited to announce that our first Annual Report is now available! This report highlights our accomplishments, financials, and the impact we’ve made over the past year. It’s a testament to the hard work of our team, the generosity of our supporters, and the resilience of the community we serve.
Kids Cove Bakery
At Kids Cove Respite Home, we spent significant time searching for a sustainable way to fund our mission of supporting foster families. Our answer came in the form of a community-focused bakery, lovingly run by a dedicated team of volunteers who share our passion for making a difference. From mixing dough to packaging fresh loaves, their time and talents ensure the success of this meaningful endeavor. Every handcrafted sourdough boule and meal is more than just a treat—it’s a way to support foster families families in need of rest. 100% of the proceeds directly fund our nonprofit programs, providing free respite care, safe play spaces, and essential resources for foster families. By purchasing from our bakery, you’re not only enjoying delicious, artisan creations but also helping to create a brighter, more supportive future for foster families in our community.
